What we do

Three services that work on their own or together. Start with an idea and leave with finished parts.

Rapid prototyping

Check fit, form, and function before you commit to tooling or a big order. Send your CAD file and get a physical part within days, then revise and reprint as many times as the design needs.

Good for
  • Enclosures and housings
  • Brackets and mounts
  • Fit checks and product mockups

Production runs

Batches from ten to a few hundred identical parts, printed with locked-in settings so every part matches, and checked before it leaves the shop.

Good for
  • Jigs, fixtures, and shop tooling
  • Replacement and spare parts
  • Small-batch product components

Design and CAD

Have an idea but no CAD model? We’ll design the part with you in Autodesk Fusion from your sketches, drawings, and dimensions, then print it here, so you get finished parts, not just a file.

You receive
  • Finished, printed parts
  • A model designed for 3D printing
  • STEP, STL, or 3MF files on request

How it works

Simple, direct, and you talk to the person printing your parts.

  1. Send your project

Upload your CAD files with the quote form, or describe the part you need designed.

  2. Get a quote

Price, recommended material, and lead time, usually within a day.

  3. Approve and pay

Pay by Venmo or Zelle. Production runs and design projects start with a 50% deposit.

  4. We print and check

Every part is inspected for fit, finish, and dimensions before it’s released.

  5. We ship

Your parts are packed carefully and shipped anywhere in the US.

From the shop

A look at how your parts get made.

Planned layer by layer. Every job is set up and checked in the slicer before it prints, like this five-part production batch.
An orange part with a printed screw thread being finished inside the printer
Made to work. Functional details like printed threads come off the printer clean and ready to use.
Filament spools loaded in the printer’s automatic material system
Ready to print. Filament stays loaded and ready, so jobs start fast.

Built by an engineer

Nexus 3D Manufacturing is run by an engineer with a background in drone airframe design and manufacturing, where parts have to be light, strong, and fit the first time. Every job gets that same attention: the right material, the right print orientation for strength, and a real check before it ships.

We’re a small shop, which means quick replies, honest advice about what will and won’t print well, and no minimum order.

  • Engineers and startupsPrototypes and design iterations on short timelines
  • Small businesses and manufacturersFixtures, replacement parts, and short production runs
  • Inventors and product developersFrom a concept to a part you can hold and test

Questions

How much does it cost?

Every job is quoted individually based on material, part size, print time, and quantity. Quotes are free and there’s no obligation. Design work is quoted up front, so you’ll know the cost before we start.

I don’t have a CAD file. Can you still help?

Yes. Our design service starts from your sketches, drawings, and dimensions. We model the part in Autodesk Fusion, confirm the design with you, and then print it for you.

Will you keep my design confidential?

Yes. Your files are never shared, sold, or reused, and we’re happy to sign your NDA before you send anything.

How do I pay?

We accept Venmo and Zelle. You’ll receive an itemized invoice with every order. Production runs and design projects start with a 50% deposit.

Do you ship?

Yes, anywhere in the US. Shipping is quoted with your order.

How fast can I get my parts?

Most jobs ship within 1–3 business days after you approve the quote. Larger production runs and design projects get a specific timeline with your quote. Up against a deadline? Check the rush box on the quote form and we’ll tell you what’s possible.

What if a part doesn’t fit?

For critical fits, we can print a quick test piece first. If a part doesn’t match the dimensions we agreed on, we’ll reprint it.
